You WILL Benefit from Having a Buyer’s Agent! Your buyer’s agent represents YOUR best interest and will make sure that you buy the house you want at the best possible price and with the best possible terms.
How Much Do I Have to Pay My Buyer’s Agent? The buyer’s agent is typically paid by the seller’s broker. When a seller lists their house for sale a portion of the commission that they agree to pay their agent is given to the buyer’s agent.

Your Buyer’s Agent Will NEVER “Sell” You a House!
Your new house will “sell” itself!
The Job of Your Buyer’s Agent:
- IS NOT to “sell” you a house.
- IS to ask questions and listen to your wants and to your needs.
- IS to make sure you know about all of the available properties.
- IS to know the local area and to be your neighborhood specialist.
Once you find your “Perfect Match”, the job of your buyer’s agent is to facilitate your purchase, with the MOST FAVORABLE TERMS, and at the BEST POSSIBLE PRICE.
Looking for a new home for yourself and your family should be fun! But it can also be stressful.
A good buyer’s agent should help you enjoy the home hunting process and minimize the stress. Discuss what you are looking for thoroughly, and then let your buyer’s agent help you find a perfect match!
Your buyer’s agent should make your house search productive and enjoyable!
First: After you discuss the specific attributes that you are looking for in your new home, your buyer’s agent will search the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) and provide you with a comprehensive list of all properties that meet your criteria. You should arrange with your buyer’s agent to receive personalized e-mail updates and alerts (automatically sent to you) as soon as a property that matches your search criteria is listed in the MLS.
Second: Your buyer’s agent can preview properties located in your target areas and take you to see ONLY the properties that meet your search criteria. You do not have to spend time driving around looking at everything on the market – NO TIME WASTING! That being said, there is a benefit for you as a buyer to see several houses even if they end up being not exactly what you are looking for.
Finally: When you find a property you are interested in, your perfect match, your agent’s keen negotiating skills will assure that you get the property you want at the best possible price.
From helping you with home inspectors to making sure that all of the necessary paperwork is in order, your buyer’s agent will be with you every step of the way.
